- September 2021 - November 2021: Stephen Beller develops a data preprocessing workflow for data selection from the AlpArray data base.
- November 2021: Stephen Beller participates in the 5th technical and scientific Résif meeting where he introduces the LisAlps project. A first dataset involving 20 events is buit for preliminary applications of FWI.
- December 2021 - January 2022: Stephen Beller learns the theory of sparsity-promoting regularization and proximal algorithms and their application when dealing with unstructured hexahedral meshes.
- December 2021: Najmieh Mohammadi joins the project as PhD student.
- January-May 2022: Comprehensice datasets are prepared by N. Mohammadi for preliminary application of 3D FWI
- February 2022 - March 2022: Stephen Beller learns the theory of the Wavefield Reconstruction Inversion (WRI) method and its implementation with the method of multipliers.
- May 2022 - June 2022: Stephen Beller rewrites his ImEarth3D FWI code...
- July 2022 (week 27): Training period of N. Mohammadi at LMA.
- 15 July 2022: 18 month activity report is uploaded in the LisAlps ANR page. The data preprocessing workflow is presented as well as preliminary application of 3D elastic isotropic FWi on a small low-frequency dataset (20 events) for imaging the entire Alpine chain.
